About Little Speakers

Sally-Joy Nandee
MSc-SLP, MPEd, R.SLP, S-LP(C)
Sally is certified with Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) and a registered member in good standing with the Alberta College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (ACSLPA)
In addition to a Masters of Science in speech-language pathology, Sally completed a Masters degree in Professional Education specializing in Applied Behaviour Analysis. This education has provided Sally with a strong understanding of both communication and behaviour. As a result, she has a solid foundation of knowledge from which she can build effective and efficient programming for children with complex communication challenges.
Sally believes that parents and caregivers play an essential role in teaching their children to become effective communicators. Accordingly, parent coaching is often a focus in her treatment sessions. Sally is passionate about teaching parents to implement strategies during their everyday routines and interactions with their child so that they do not feel as if they need to set time aside to practice.
When not working, Sally spends most of her time with her husband and son. She enjoys travelling to warm places, going for bike rides with her family, having coffee with friends, and watching movies.
