Payment

Payment is due at the end of each session.At this time, Alberta Health Care does NOT cover the cost for private speech-language pathology services. However, health benefit providers may cover at least a portion of the cost. It is the responsibility of the parents or caregivers to check with their insurance provider to determine if they have coverage for this service. Sally is happy to provide proof that she is registered with ACSLPA (i.e., a copy of her practice permit) if required by your insurance company. Fees paid to a private Speech-Language Pathologist are considered to be a tax-deductible medical expense by Canada Revenue Agency.
